Myself.

Somayeh is highly independent and has won multiple architectural design awards. Her winning projects, "(Re)Cycle- A New Beginning," and "Crossing of the Coast," have been recognized internationally. Her project, Crossing of the Coast, was featured in Design MENA and The National (the UAE’s official newspaper). Notably, (Re)Cycle- A New Beginning, was exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, in 2019.
As a self-motivated team player with a positive, communicative, and collaborative approach, Somayeh has gained experience in working in the field of architecture as a Job Captain. During years of her work, she has gained knowledge and expertise in projects of various scales, from small renovations to vast phased developments. She has participated in all phases of projects, including DD, SC, and CD. With experience in working in different types of projects, from residential, commercial to massive parking buildings designs, Somayeh has enhanced her architectural knowledge and boosted her capability to overcome obstacles specific to these different project types. She has been capable of working in multiple projects simultaneously with different project managers. She is also highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Blue beam, BIM 360 document management. She is a passionate designer who holds an accredited bachelor’s degree in architecture and a Master of Design for Sustainable Urban Environment.
Apart from her profession, she loves to travel and explore the world’s architecture and cultures. She has traveled to East Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America and visited Japan, Korea, Germany, Portugal, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Oman, Thailand, China, Turkey, Netherlands, Austria, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Spain, and Canada as well as having had significant exposure to different cultures, including Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and the USA.
Somayeh is very proactive and cares about being healthy and doing workouts, with her favorite activity being bodybuilding; She also likes to promote healthy eating to others by posting her diet plans on Instagram and other social media.
